Punjab Planning & Development Department organized condolence reference session in the memory of deceased Former Member (PSD) Planning & Development Board Rai Javed Ahmad at P&D Complex Lahore.
Chairman P&D Punjab Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan, Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, Members P&D Board Dr. Shabana Haider, Dr. Abid Bodla, Mukhtar Ahmad Noal, Saddaqat Hussain, Agha Waqar Javed, Mehmood-ul-Hassan, Additional Secretary P&D Dr. Shahid Adil, Chief Economist P&D Dr. Amanullah, Director PERI Dr. Mumtaz, Deputy Secretary (Admin), Sr. Chiefs and Chiefs of Development Sectors and Administration wing of P&D Department attended the session.
Chairing the condolence reference session, Chairman P&D Jahanzeb Khan said “Every soul shall taste death”. Chairman expressed his profound grief on behalf of P&D Department over the sad demise of former Member P&D Rai Javed Ahmad. P&D Department offered condolence to the bereaved family and also prayed that almighty Allah rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give them courage and patience to bear the irreparable lose. During the session, Chairman Jahanzeb Khan highlighted the government services delivered by Late Rai Javed and paid great tribute to him. He was a thorough gentleman and nice fellow. He served during the service with hardworking, honestly and diligently, Chairman P&D added.
Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo also spoke on the occasion. At the last participants prayed for departed soul.
