The PDWP approved two development schemes of road sector
The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved two development schemes of road sector with an estimated cost of Rs. 2094.351 million.
The schemes were approved in the 30th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17.
Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
According to Spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included Re-habilitation of Road from Bansra Gali to Lawrance College to Jhika Gali length=9.35 kms, Rawalpindi (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 611.168 million and Rehabilitation / Widening & Improvement of Shahpur-Bhera-Malikwal Road length 76.50 km District Sargodha, Phase-I km 0.00 to 50.30 length 50.30 km (Shahpur to Bhera) at the cost of Rs. 1483.183 million.
