The Punjab PDWP Approved Four Development Schemes of Local Government Sector

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved four development schemes of Local Government Sector with an estimated cost of PKR. 137.775 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 55th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided by the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.       

The approved development schemes included:

  • PC-II for Pre-Design Studies, Field Investigations, Detailed Engineering Design and Resident Supervision for Construction of Sanitary Landfill, at Gujranwala at the cost of PKR. 36.93 Million,
  • Construction/development of landfill site at Faisalabad (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 38.53 Million
  • Establishment of regional landfill site at Shergarh, District Okara, Sahiwal Division (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 24.125 Million
  • Construction/development of landfill site at Bahawalpur (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 38.19 Million
