The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved three schemes of development sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 32.166 million.
These schemes were approved in the 25th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included:
- Hiring a consultant/consulting firm for designing Auditorium for Bhakkar Arts Council, Bhakkar (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 6.000 Million
- Hiring of international consultancy services for formulation of Sports Policy Punjab (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 5.949 Million
- Development of tourist resort, entertainment park and parking area at Kala Bagh, District Mianwali (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 20.217 Million
