The Punjab PDWP Approved Five Development Schemes of Various Sector

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved five development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 38624.317 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 19th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.       

The approved development schemes included:

  • Punjab Police Integrated Command, Control & Communication (PPIC3) Centre, Lahore (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 14,527.00 Million
  • Promotion of gram cultivation through Life Saving Irrigation with sprinkler system under Climate Changing at the cost of PKR. 380.080 Million
  • Rehabilitation/re-construction/widening and improvement of road from Sahiwal to Sillanwali via Farooqa length: 26.17 km, Sargodha at the cost of PKR. 694.413 Million
  • Third Party Validation of Roadmap Data on Basic Health Units and Rural Health Centers (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 21.524 Million
  • Enhancing of Public Private Partnership (PPP) in Punjab at the cost of PKR. 23001.30 Million
