The Punjab PDWP approved five development schemes of various Sectors
The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved five development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 5890.091 million.
These schemes were approved in the 57th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17 at P&D Complex, Lahore.
Provincial Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included: Construction of New OPD Block in Services Hospital, Lahore (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 1388.489 million, Social Forestry to Increase Tree Cover Farmlands at the cost of Rs. 568.53 million, Water Quality Survey, Identification of Outlived Pipes, Outsourcing of Water Supply Schemes, Rationalization of Staff in WASAs, TMAs & PHED and Prequalification of Contractors and Manufactures (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 762.175 million, Establishment Including Civil Works, Procurement, Installation and Maintenance of 12 Permanent & 36 Mobile Weigh Station under Axle Load Management Regime in Punjab at the cost of Rs. 2217.27 million & Construction of Flyover at Sublime Chowk, District Sialkot at the cost of Rs. 953.627 million.
