The PDWP Approved Six Development Schemes of Various Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved six development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 2127.89 Million.

The schemes were approved in the 15th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Secretary P&DD Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.      

According to Spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included Development of Ostrich Farming in Punjab at the cost of PKR. 69.700 Million

  • Propagation of ducks rearing in Punjab at the cost of PKR. 45.030 Million
  • Developing Rural Poultry Models to Support Rural Economy at the cost of PKR. 184.44 Million
  • Replacement of 45-No. Tubewells of WASA, Lahore at the cost of PKR. 649.72 Million
  • Provision of clean drinking water, sewerage system, PCC and allied facilities in Ganj Bazar, Gulistan Colony and Adjoining Abadies, Lahore at the cost of PKR. 771.00 Million
  • Provision of clean drinking water, sewerage system, PCC and allied facilities in Chohan Colony Singhpura and Adjoining Abadies, Lahore at the cost of PKR. 408.00 Million
