Punjab Government Approved Various Development Schemes

The Punjab Government approved four development schemes of different development Sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 786.711 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 11th  meeting of Provincial Development Working Party of current fiscal year 2014-15 presided over by the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman, Muhammad Irfan Elahi, says P&D Spokesman. Chief Economist Dr. Khalid Mushtaq, members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.

According to spokesman for P&D, the approved development schemes included:

  • Appointment of a consultant for Baluchistan Institute of Cardiology, Quetta, Baluchistan (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 26.936 Million
  • Development of master plan for Jallo Park Lahore (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 3.000 Million
  • Urban sewerage and drainage scheme Pirmahal District Toba Tek Singh (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 313.021 Million
  • Comprehensive water supply scheme Kamalia City District Toba Tek Singh  (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 443.754 Million
