Approved Six Development Schemes

The Punjab Government on Monday has approved 6 development schemes of different development Sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 5316.587 Million

These schemes were approved in the 3rd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party of current fiscal year 2014-15 presided over by the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman, Muhammad Irfan Elahi, says P&D Spokesman. Secretary P&D Arif Anwar Baloch, Chief Economist P&D, Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.

According to spokesman P&D, the approved development schemes included:

  • Feasibility for the establishment of “National Safari Park” in Salt Rang (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 15.000 Million
  • Widening and improvement of road from Tail Wala to Mithra length: 24.00 km District Bahawalpur at the cost of PKR. 299.571 Million
  • Transaction advisory services for Establishment of Multi-Modal Inter-City Bus Terminals in Lahore (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 11.971 Million
  • Improvement/rehabilitation of existing Multan Road, Lahore from Thokar Niaz Baig Scheme Morr (Roads Works) length: 7.70 kms Package-II (Phase-I) at the cost of PKR. 2189.320 Million,
  • Construction of bridge over river Chenab at Bhowana Including Approaches District Chiniot length: 15.37 km at the cost of PKR. 2466.659 Million
  • Widening/improvement and Construction of Road from Gali Jagir to Tehsil Fateh Jang Chakri Inter-Change M-2, length: 23.56 km, District Attock & Rawalpindi at the cost of PKR. 334.066 Million
