The Punjab PDWP approved three development schemes of various sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved three development schemes of Regional Planning, Education & Public Building Sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 9527.7 million.

These schemes were approved in the 23rd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, All Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.       

The approved development schemes included: Southern Punjab Poverty Alleviation Project (SPPAP)-IFAD Assisted (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 7565.780 million, Teacher’s Training Program at the cost of Rs. 584.765 million and Construction of Training Laboratory at Punjab Forensic Science Agency, Lahore at the cost of Rs. 1377.155 million.
