The Punjab PDWP approved Four Development Schemes of Irrigation & Health Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved four development schemes of irrigation & health sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 17070.301 million.

These schemes were approved in the 33rd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.       

The approved development schemes included: Construction of Dadhocha Dam, Rawalpindi (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 6137.571 million, Rehabilitation and Upgradation of Fakhar Flood Bund RD 10+600 to 25+300m Rajanpur (DCRIP) at the cost of Rs. 636.56 million, Rehabilitation and Upgradation of River Training Works of Balloki Head Works, District Kasur and Nankana Sahib (DCRIP) at the cost of Rs. 1303.17 million and Chief Minister’s Stunting Reduction Program at the cost of Rs. 8993.000 million.
