The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved two development schemes of Secondary Healthcare & Medical Education Sector with an estimated cost of Rs. 10,928.012 million.
These schemes were approved in the 80th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2021-22 presided over by Chairman Planning & Development Board Ali Sarfraz Hussain.
The approved development schemes included Establishment of Mother & Child Block in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore at the cost of Rs. 9,518.537 million and Purchase of Linear Accelerator with Allied Facilities for Oncology Department, Jinnah Hospital, Lahore (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 1,409.475 million.
Provincial Secretary P&D Board Dr. Muhammad Sohail Anwar Chaudhary, all Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries of concerned departments, and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
