Punjab Government approved various development schemes of different development sectors
The Provincial Development Working Party Punjab approved three development schemes of various development Sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 6387.139 million.
These schemes were approved in the 31st meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2014-15 presided over by the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman, Muhammad Irfan Elahi, says P&D Spokesman.
Provincial Secretary P&D Waseem Ajmal Chaudhary, members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
According to Spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included: District Based Multiple Indicators Cluster Survey (MICS), Punjab 2014. (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 129.097 million, Replacement of Outlived, Deeper and Inadequate Water Supply Lines with HDPE Pipes, Lahore, (Gastro Phase-II) (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 1758.042 million and Punjab Municipal Services Improvement Project–II(PMSIP-II) (Concept Clearance Paper) at the cost of Rs. 4500.000 million.
