The PDWP Approved Ten Development Schemes of Various Development Sectors
The Provincial Development Working Party Punjab approved Ten development schemes of various development Sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 25,018.727 million.
These schemes were approved in the 38th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2014-15 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Irfan Elahi. Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretary concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
According to Spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included: Channelization of Aik Nullah and Improving Drainage System in District Sialkot at the cost of Rs. 759.674 million, Rehabilitation of Rural Water Supply Scheme Fort Munroo District D.G. Khan at the cost of Rs. 257.064 million, Urban Sewerage / Drainage scheme Kamoki District Gujranwala (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 337.615 million, Provision of Missing Specialities for Up-Gradation of DHQ Hospital Dera Ghazi Khan into Teaching Hospital D.G. Khan at the cost of Rs. 2436.875 million, Construction of Bridge over River Chenab at Bhowana Including approaches District Chiniot, length=15.37 km (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 2308.479 million, Widening / Improvement of Road from Ouderwal to Nila Road length 43.00 km District Chakwal (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 674.336 million, Rehabilitation/Widening of 10’-12’ Rural Road under “Khadim-e-Punjab Roads Programme (KPRP)”(Umbrella PC-I) at the cost of Rs. 6856.430 million, Khadim-e-Punjab Roads Program (KPRP) (Rehabilitation & Widening of (Rural) Roads in Punjab Highways Department, North Zone) (Umbrella PC-I) at the cost of Rs. 8930.000 million, Widening / Improvement of road from Hasilpur to Bahawalnagar km No. 0.00 to 80.00 length:80.00 km (2nd Revised) at the cost of Rs. 2233.342 million and Widening / Improvement of road from Rajanpur to Haji Pur length=28.02 km, District Rajanpur at the cost of Rs. 224.912 million.
