The PDWP Approved Eight Development Schemes of Various Development Sectors
The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved eight development schemes of various development Sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 6112.263 million.
These schemes were approved in the 14th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2015-16 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Irfan Elahi.
Provincial Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
According to Spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included: Augmentation / Improvement of Disposal Stations Multan Phase-I at the cost of
Rs. 620.050 million, Establishment of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture, Multan (Phase-II) at the cost of Rs. 1363.167 million, Construction of Offices of Dolphin Squad, Sadar Division Lahore at the cost of Rs. 210.416 million, Construction of Offices of Dolphin Squad, Model Town & Cantt: Division and Centralized Hqrs (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 403.592 million, Construction of High Security Prison in Northern Punjab (one at Mianwali) at the cost of Rs. 1193.492 million, Construction of Academic Block of Nawaz Sharif Medical College, Gujrat at the cost of Rs. 693.176 million, Establishment of Nursing College with Hostel and Paramedical School with Hostel at Govt. Teaching Hospital Shahdara, Lahore at the cost of Rs. 229.407 million and Comprehensive TB Control Program in Punjab (2015-16 to 2017/18) at the cost of Rs. 1398.933 million.
